FitsMyPool currently contains no affiliate links and no paid placements. No manufacturer and no retailer pays for a product to be included or displayed.
What will change
The site is intended to be funded through affiliate links in future: links to retailers from which FitsMyPool receives a commission when a purchase follows a click. The price you pay does not change. Such links will be clearly marked as advertising as soon as they exist.
Independence of the compatibility statements
Whether a product is shown as fitting, and in which order, is decided solely by the technical check: connections, manufacturer data and the rules derived from them. Payments have no influence on this — and will not have in future. Where the data are not sufficient, the page says “Unknown” instead of making a recommendation.
